Description
A 3'3" Grung (tall for a grung) with slimy green skin. His skin oozes a poisonous coating that is slimy and paralyses anyone that touches him. He wears a brown cowboy hat that cannot be removed (its cursed) along with leather boots with no souls so that his feet have better purchase.
History
Born on the 2nd Kythorn 1482 (absolute) of the Second Age, he has a Luna first quarter rising and a Devana waxing crescent rising.
l'Gma and w’Ixki come from the same clutch of eggs. t'Qila comes from a different one, hatching a couple weeks earlier. All are green grung. l'Gma was born sickly.
t'Qila was like a ‘big brother’ to the others and took them under his wing. They were all very close friends.
After their village was sacked and destroyed they were split up, not knowing if the others were alive or dead.
t'Qila managed to stumble across the mountains to Gefestmere, where with a few other survivors he joined the sewer grung.
l'Gma remained with the village, surviving the attack, and was later forced into the painful alchemical process of becoming a red grung. This destroyed his sense of self, becoming a Gollum-esque type character.
W’Ixki was saved in the forest outside the village by Creed (hold me now), a bounty hunter, who reluctantly allowed the enamoured w’Ixki to travel with him. Creed slowly became a father figure to w’Ixki, eventually teaching him how to wield a gun but never once letting him wear his hat. He would insist hyperbolically that “It don’t come off.”
Creed’s shady dealings eventually caught up to him. His last act was hiding w’Ixki in a barrel, who then witnessed the gruesome death of his mentor. In his anguish he donned the cowboy hat which affixed itself permanently to him. He buried Creed in the mountains? where he died.
Trudging through the mountains aimlessly, w’Ixki stumbled across t’Qila fishing, alive and well. To his surprise, he had heard about their village being rebuilt, though t’Qila now lived in Gefestmere.
Reigniting the grief and guilt of the attack, w’Ixki returned to the location of his former village. He discovered that l'Gma was now a red grung and rejoined the village, working in whatever capacity was required.
When l'Gma ran from the village to Gefestmere, w'Ixki was tasked with tracking him down and bringing him back. However, this resulted in w'Ixki being subject to a time altering ritual. w'Ixki, along with others caught up in this ritual (some of which had joined a polycule with w'Ixki), managed to uncover the truth and prevent the ritual from succeeding, but could not stop l'Gma from escaping the city.
A few months after the ending of the time loop, (most) the party received two letters. The first, papers filing for the divorce of w’Ixki from the polycule; beneath that, an invitation to the wedding of w’Ixki and t’Qila to be held in just under a year's time. Following the conclusion of the whole ritual affair, w’Ixki spent his time with the sewer grung of Gefestmere. While t’Qila worked to integrate the sewer grung into the city above, w’Ixki took odd bounties further afield for monsters and other undesirables, the proceeds of which going into their shared bank account to save for the construction of a ranch in their favourite fishing spot in the mountains.
